A dental implant replaces a single tooth without having to attach crowns to surrounding teeth. An implant is built on a titanium post and topped with a natural looking crown to create an individual tooth replacement that quite literally stands on its own. Dental Implant Dentures
In addition to looking and functioning like natural teeth, implant-supported dentures and full bridges are designed to be an effective and stable long-term solution. Implants eliminate the need for adhesives to keep dentures in place, as well as the sores and pain often associated with loose-fitting dentures. By stimulating the jaw bone, dental implants also help to maintain the bone and a more youthful appearance.

All On-4-Dental Implants
The “All On-4 dental implant technique” is often used to secure loose-fitting dentures or multiple missing teeth. The All-on-4 procedure uses four titanium dental implants to anchor the upper and lower jaw. This provides a strong foundation for prosthetic teeth, which are added afterwards to complete this permanent procedure. The entire procedure is completed in-house by Dr. Daniel Hyun.
Bone Grafting
Bone grafting is a procedure performed to increase the amount of bone in a section of the jaw where there has been bone loss. Dr. Hyun will make an incision in the jaw, and then attach this bone graft material to the jaw.
The preferred approach for dental bone grafting is to use your own bone from the hip, tibia, or back of the jaw, which is known as an autograft. Autografts are usually the “gold standard,” since they increase bony support in the jaw and promote faster healing and new bone formation.
